Explore social justice issues in the painting of Norman Rockwell. This class will include a tour of the exhibition Norman Rockwell: American Freedom at the Museum of Fine Art, Houston. Class members will be afforded a greatly reduced admission of $5 instead of the admission charged to MFAH non-members of $18. Already a member of MFAH? Your admission to this exhibit is free.

Participants will incorporate the iconic concepts that Rockwell embraced to brainstorming a work of art of your design which responds to current social and political issues.

Open to all levels AND these media: acrylic, water media, charcoal, pencil
