Monthly Gallery ExhibitsEach month we host a new exhibit where art lovers can drop in to see the most recent show. We encourage our show participants to also submit digital copies of their work so that it can also be included in our on-line version of the live monthly show. We have two major exhibits each year, our International Watermedia Exhibit (IWE) in March and our Annual Members Exhibit (AME) in October. Both these exhibits are juried shows, where artists present their work to a juror who determines if their work is worthy of entry. This occurs prior to the judging and awarding of prizes.
is in July. Students may submit work done under the supervision of an instructor. The intent of this show is to encourage new artists to fully experience the exhibit process, show their progress in painting under the supervision of an instructor, and compete for prizes other new artists. Once an artist wins a prize in this or our other shows, they are not eligible to enter future student shows. We encourage our WAS-H teachers to also participate in this show, but teachers are not eligible for prizes.
